CURATION

As an independent curator of African descent, Usen’s curatorial practice is informed by ancestral traditions rooted in care and community. This lineage and legacy inspires how Usen engages with authentic expressions of Afro-diasporic identity, criticality and aesthetic sensibility. Usen’s curatorial practice, deeply rooted in research and learning, is an act of remembrance that seeks to uphold history and uplift humanity.
