Unheard Voices
Conceptualized ‘Unheard Voices from Nigeria’ — an immersive digital storytelling series (also available in Hausa and Pidgin) highlighting the impact of violence against women in collaboration with award-winning documentary photographer and visual artist Etinosa Yvonne through her research-based advocacy and multimedia project, “It’s All In My Head.”
Featured in BBC News (Pidgin), Marie Claire, Global Citizen, AfricaNews, Azeema and more. Included in 12th Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art.
2021 Webby Award Nominee for Best User Experience (Web/Mobile Sites).

A Piece of Me
Led production on ‘A Piece of Me’ — a short film series by Sara Elgamal honoring survivors of female genital mutilation (FGM) in Ethiopia’s Afar Region. Showed films via immersive art exhibits in Toronto (Toronto Media Arts Centre), London (Protein Studios) and New York (UN Headquarters).
Featured in Elle, Fader, Nowness, Global Citizen, UN News, Azeema, tmrw, Flare and more. Included in United Nations online exhibition.
2020 Webby Award for Best Use of Video/Moving Image and 2020 Shorty Award for Best Global Campaign + Silver Honor in Documentary Short.

Going the Last Mile
Commissioned photographer Robbie Lawrence to document the urgent need for life-saving access to reproductive health care services for women and girls who live in remote and rural communities across Sierra Leone.
Led a production crew comprised of both local and international talent.
Resulted in ‘Freetown’ photobook, launched with an exhibit at 98 Orchard Gallery in New York. Print sale proceeds donated to support UN response.
Featured by TIME Magazine, The Guardian and Martin Parr Foundation.

Don't Look Away
Conceptualized ‘Don’t Look Away’ — a multi-media storytelling project with Eliza Hatch, photographer and Founder of Cheer Up Luv, to raise awareness about sexual harassment on public transportation in Sri Lanka.
Led production on the accompanying short film, ‘Come Home Safely’.

Safe Birth, Even Here
Commissioned documentary photographer Elena Heatherwick to capture how midwives are saving lives and ensuring safe birth in the aftermath of devastating humanitarian crises in Haiti (earthquake) and Liberia (Ebola).
Led photojournalism and video production team across both countries.
Featured in the Guardian Weekend Magazine, It’s Nice That, ReliefWeb, United Nations (UN) News Centre and the Healthy Newborn Network.
‘Safe Birth, Even Here’ campaign website won a 2019 Webby Award.

Conceptualized and curated the "40x40" photo project, which invited a cross-generational and multi-ethnic group of 40 women photographers from across the globe to each submit and showcase a photo from their respective archives to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the United Nations’ official recognition of International Women's Day (8 March).
Led creative strategy, influencer outreach and media pitching to global and regional news outlets.
